I broke tranny on my car again, and I'm at quite stokish power levels
Basically it was wet, I went over tram rails on intersection, slowly pressed the throttle, passenger side tire spun and voila, now there is a klicking noise that happens 2x during one second if I drive at 15 mph and the frequency increases with speed. Happens if clutch is engaged and if it's disengaged, gear doesn't change anything.
I lifted the car and the sound is there if I just turn the wheels, any of them.
My bet is that it's the diff. Last time I broke all tooth on spider gears in stock diff, which in turn made a hole in bell housing. The tranny was rebuilt at local shop, using Galant V6 diff, and now it's broken again.
To tell the truth it's just not funny anymore
Is it expected that tranny lasts for like 2 months of spirited driving on FWD DSMs?
