Go ahead if this many people saying "No" isn't getting to you. I bought a car got 5000$ in parts and made 800$ selling it , THATS a profit trying to resell used skunk2 coilovers with who knows how many miles for a quick 20$? Not worth the profit

My question is, why are you posting at all if you aren't providing anything to the topic at all (See the quote above)? If you don't like the thread or don't have any positive input then just don't read or post here. Why don't you leave it to the moderators to decide when threads get off topic or in the wrong forum. If you don't like what's here then don't look. If you think it doesn't belong then report it to a moderator.

When I was living in CA, I went to the junkyard and found a full set of Skunk red coilovers on a civic, I bought it cause it was "SHUNK". And I had the same thought like you that I will make a profit off of it, so I bought it for 100 bucks. Here is the kicker, I didn't realize it was sooo bad that the guy just junked the civic without even bother taking them off.. sad.. eventually I sold them 20bucks ea, to a cheap asian dude. lost 20 bucks and time.

The problem lies with you, you just don't get it. The coilovers are garbage, you can find that out from a simple search of the forums. Multiple people told you they are garbage, they would not spend any money on them and then you tried to find a reason why our outlook is wrong. Yet another person who did not want an answer but rather people to agree with them so they did'nt feel retarded if this blew up in their face.

They are complete shit just like the other spinoffs of the same style springs you can find on ebay. "Skunk2" is just an over glorified ebay brand IMHO. They are made of VERY CHEAP THIN metal (for the sleeves), the spring rates are not true/worse than stock, and if you stick those on your stock struts (if you are) they will be blown out damn near instantly. I bought a set of these just for shens last year, popped them on my car and it was like driving with 4 pogo sticks. Going around a turn at a decent speed damn near killed me because my car rolled into the turn instead of staying solid and going around the turn. Take it from a value buying person such as myself, you can't get good shit for cheap.

So because they are new they don't know anything? That's a stupid assumption. I've been a member since '05 so I guess that means something? Basically you are saying if you haven't been a member here for ages then it's likely you have no idea what you are talking about? I'd be willing to bet one on them has actually owned a set of Skunk2 coil overs, and actually knows what they are talking about. So, unless you have owned a set and have some personal experience to share, you are just talking out of your ass about all this anyways.

My real question however is why you are still following this thread. You already gave your opinion and much more?
