How much would you pay for.....

A 1993 Talon TSi AWD. Has ~122,000 miles on odometer. Big brakes, decently clean paint besides some dings. No stereo, interior needs to be cleaned up a bit. Has a new tranny under warantee with reciepts. 4 bolt rear. Only problem is the compression is 121-85-121-121 on a rebuilt 7 bolt 10k miles ago.

If I got this car, Id be doing a JDM 6 bolt swap.

How much would you pay for this car?

2,000 to 2,500...that compression REALLY sucks.

i personally would not pay $2,000 for somethign that needs a motor. Is the guy taking best offer? Ask him whats the lowest he'll take then go from there. Tell him that you arent going to give him much because the car is going to need alot of money put into it to get it running good again.

He was talking for around 1500. I just couldnt justify spending that much for a car that needs a new motor, has some oil/ ps leaks, a/c issues, no radio, dirty interior, and some body flaws.


I was going to offer around 800. Do you think that owuld be low balling him?

You're right though, I would not offer them over 1,000 for a car that doesnt run.

Less than 1k. I got mine with a few dings, shot paint and a broken timing belt for $800 with 94k miles.
