How much tranny fluid do I need for my 1g fwd

I'm about to change my tranny fluid on my fwd, does anybody know how many quarts i need,I search already and couldn't find a legit answer

How about on a 2g AWD? I Dont have a manual and everywhere just says what types of trans fluid. I split 5 quarts of MT 90 with a buddy so we should each have 2.5 QT and then ive got like half QT left of heavy weight shockproof for the Tcase. How much do i put in the Tcase? Just until it starts to ooze out?

More concerned with how much MT-90 is needed, i have heard 2.3, i have heard 2.5 i have heard 3, all i did was take off the trans and drain everything for a throw out bearing install so i did not disassemble the trans but im pretty sure everything came out of there.

It takes I believe 2.6 qts . I have always grabbed 3 just to make sure I get it full.

thanks bro cause the auto part store told me to use the gl4 on the diff 2 so it will damage my diff right

i just saw that there there is no way to check how much is currently in there when your filling it huh? pretty much have to guess on the last QT bottle i suppose. thanks man appreciate it.

maybe, the MT-90 isnt as thick as the shockproof

Ok so i will just use MT-90 GL4 on the trans and i will buy the royal purple GL5 for know at auto zone.
