How much power can the ACT 3200 pressure hold with street or 6 puck disk?

The reason I ask I hate chatter, I don't know if I'll get chatter with street disk with 3200, I didn't have chatter with 2900 and street clutch, littel bit chatter with 2900 and 6 puck disk in my other car both of them are FWD.

I like to be street more than drag, twin or tripple plate costs alot so I got two 3200 custom pressure,2 6 puck clutchs 2 street disks

Now I don't want to put the street and slip it again the same happened with 2900 and I don't want to put the 6 puck and get alot of chatter because of the 3200 pressure.

So guys do you think I'll have more chatter with 3200 pressure+6 puck disk than 2900 pressure with 6 puck disk?

How much power can I get from 3200 with street and 6 puck disk?
I slipped the 2900 with street disk at drag more than 5 times with 547 wheel hp, some times I was slipping the clutch at dyno with tuning and running the car for few runs

So what do you think guys?
Thanks

youll have more chatter with the 3200 and 6 puck...

Do you use a 6 puck sprung hub?

Well Ive never heard of an ACT 3200, but it probably exists, if I were you I would get a SBR 4k clutch, it would probably hold the best for you. The 6 puck is a little rougher then a street disc, but not sure about the chatter, do to the mere(sp?) fact that I dont use a 6 puck.

All the 6 puck I've used is none spring, I don't think ACT has spring hub 6 puck or they might just started to make some.

Its special order, I think Mr-John Shippered used that but I don't think he used that with street clutch and the ACT 2900 holds more power than SBR 4k clutch as Craig in SBR said, and he recomanded the ACT 3200 more than SBR clutch for my setup, I'm sure it will hold my power but the reason I ask I hate chatter and I drive my car at street alot, I'm affraid to put the street and slip it and damage my new flywheel so I guess the only way to do it is to put the 6puck and see how much chatter am I gonna get

Thanks, any info are welcome if someothers tested this clutch

I have had great luck with the Exedy stage 2 thick ceramic cluch. It's a 3 puck sprung desine that has a slight amount of chater but nothing that you can't ignore. The best part of the cluch is when the ceramic gets hot it grips more. I have had this cluch in a couple of 2.3L cars producing upwards of 550 WHP and had no problems.

i dont see any reason why u would need a 3200?
I want something to last for a while, I think the 3200 ACT with 6 puck disk will be able to hold 700 wheel hp with 550 wheel hp it will be easy for this clutch to hold a couple of runs.

I've suffered from slipping 2900 with street disk, I was affraid to put the 6 puck disk on the 2900 and slip it again, so I put the 3200 with 6 puck disk on a new ACT flywheel for my both cars, the Colt and the Eclipse and they have alot of chatter, I tried the 2900 with 6 puck disk on my Colt and had less chatter not noticed but ended up slipping the clutch with 430 wheel hp but the reason was bad pressure not the the clutch wasn't holding well, so droped two big clutchs, hope I don't get crank walk with 6 bolts because of this heavy clutch

Thanks for the info guys and hope they last forever

ACT just started making a 6 puck sprung hub. They were out for a lttle bit and there was a slight problem with the design so the recalled them, but they will be out again shortly. I actually saw one in person a little over a month ago, but when I went to order one they told me this and said they will have them again soon. :thumb:
