i have researched everywhere, maybe if someone can point me in the right direction. i have no problem searching i just cannot find the answer.

how much can a stock block 6 bolt hold? and say if i were to throw after market rods and pistons, how much then?

As of last night i think the stock record has been beaten, my friend has a 1g talon awd that, now this is a dsm link estimate so he hasnt dynoed it yet, but put down 567hp and 543 tq. He just has 264 cams internally wise so i dont know if it still counts...

It depends on how well you tune the car. Knock is a killer....

Yea its pretty sick..sadly he hasnt ran it at the track yet...i'll have to get some pics and videos of it and show you guys...he's supposed to be getting sponsored by Slowboy here soon :fingers crossed:

how much horse power and boost can the stock 4g63T engine take before i have to start changeing internals?

That is a hard question to answer due to everyone takes care of thier cars differently. It really all depends on the supporting mods and proper tuning.

I personally have 2 friends with Galant VR-4s here in the Northwest that have made a ton of power on stock motors. One of them easily had 500awhp on his FP3052 and he only had a 2G piston/1G big rod, Fel-Pro MLS HG, ARP-throughout motor... and the other has over 400awhp on his 3052 and he has a 1G piston/1G big rod motor, Mitsu MLS HG, ARP-throughout motor. Granted each of them recently threw a rod in the last 2 months, but the 500hp GVR4's motor was 7 years old and had tons of track abuse and high 10 second passes! The 400hp GVR4 was on his factory 6-bolt bottom end! So that would have made it 16 years old and he was making high 11 second passes! I know that the 400+ GVR4 is on this board (turbowop is his name).

I also have a good friend that has a 500+awhp 1G with 2G pistons/1G big rods on re-used stock rod bolts with his FP3065 and he has been beating on that car to low 11 second passes for a while now as well. He is on this board as well (NewTurboTuner is his name).

It really is all about the maintenance and the tuning. If you half-ass either of those, the life of your motor will be significantly decreased!
