I had a 95 Talon N/T, with a 2.4 swap, poly motor mounts, intake, and exhaust, 5 speed, 2nd owner, and no accidents for 500 bucks. I got my current Laser TSI AWD for free, spent 250 bucks getting it to pass inspection, and drive it daily since.

Some 18yr old decided to put in a china BOV and tighten the screw flush. Made horrible flutter. So I told him that sound was a shot turbo. His posted price was $3500, I said is offer $2700 if he delivered it (2 hours) once I told him about the turbo being shot, he dropped down to $1800. he also has reciepts showing the motor and tranny only have 27k on them...

I consider that a WIN.

He totally deserved it.

He bought a FMIC and bolted it onto the front bumper. no piping, not hooked up at all. just did it for looks. It was even upside down and backwards... When I removed it there was Honda spray painted on the back of it. Caused the DSM to run hot. Call me a dick all you want, the kid didnt deserve that ride. As I see it the more money I can save on buying a DSM the more I can put into it.
