Ok so I have a walbro 190 fuel pump but the rest of my fuel system is stock, what I'm wanting to know is how much can I turn up the boost safely with the fuel pump in? With the stock fuel pump I was running 15psi just fine.. I currently have my boost at around 13-14psi, my current mod list is updated in my profile.

how are you measuring how much boost you are producing? I know my GSX has a little gauge on the dash with a Turbo and +/- on it but...?

:banghead:

You have a LOT of reading to do. Get something good to drink, get a comfy chair, and just start reading. :)

LOL +1, I suggest lurking for about a good solid month of reading up regularly and making a goal hp, a set of plans, specific set of mods, etc.
It's encouraged that you Search and read a lot before you start another thread that has been asked A LOT.

OP: Really before you do anything it'd be wise to get a logger. To give you an idea - on my 14B I ran 16-18psi with stock injectors and a walbro 190 rewired. Your car may react different since there is so many variables.
When I switched to 550cc injectors I ran 20psi. Now I've upgraded to a 16G and I'm currently running 18psi until I get dsmlink lite.

The key here is fuel management and controlling it. I highly recommend lite over an SAFC(even though that's what i have right now).

Anyway the question you really want to ask is how much power can I make with the walbro 190. It has been answered - maybe someone will post a link, or search for it.

Well I don't plan on going past a 16g anytime soon and if I get a 16g if till be a B16G, if I were to upgrade it would only be to a fp 68 hta but thats in the way far future LOL. I have a eprom ecu, so lite would be cool instead of using a safc. I have a autometer boost gauge, I'm wondering if I should T my mbc off the bov vac source or if I should leave it the way I have it which is from the turbo outlet to mbc to wastegate actuator.

leave the MBC the way it is -- please dont t if off of the bov -- heard negative things on that idea several times

You will quickly find that your boost isnt limited by fuel, but by air. You will hit fuel cut far before you run out of fuel pump. im getting fuel cut @ 15-16psi on a small16g, stock injectors with a Denso 150 pump. The fuel is there, getting the air past the MAS is the tricky part.

Single un-touched source to BOV. Single line from compressor elbow(or turbo if its tapped.) to wastegate actuator. Like other member's said - this is the only way to go without boost and BOV issues.

I just want my exhaust and suspension right now. I plan on running full 3" piping catless to a magnaflow straight through muffler with a nice tip to give it a stock look(0 resonators). I just have no idea how loud its gonna be.. If anyone has a vid with close to similar exhaust that would be cool to see a vid. I also plan on running my battery to the trunk and then re-wiring my fuel pump from there :).

It's going to be stupid loud. I have a PR O2 housing, 3" MR exhaust. One 16" resonator, the other "fart" can muffler. It's comparable to my RX-8 with 3" header-back.

Either way, of all the times I've been pulled over in either car, the cop has had something to say about the exhaust.

Sure a true "straight pipe" exhaust will sound cool, but it will get annoying quick. Trust me.

There are days I pop in my silencer and like it so much I keep it in for a couple weeks, till I feel the need for a little extra power.

I assume you've read about boost creep with a 3" downpipe/exhaust system?

I don't want to run a fart can I want to run a magnaflow, a more muffled muffler than a fart can. Cops here don't worry so much about sound, more bling(like a fart can). Lucky me I have enough Honda's and Subies with LOUD exhaust in town and no other DSM'ers really so I don't think I'll need to worry that much(just a little:shhh:). And I know about the boost creep thing, I have a o2 dump and plan on porting my wastegate to help with it and I might be picking up a ebc soon. I just want it to be throaty but somewhat quiet and still be able to hear my turbo in my exhaust LOL.(No I'm not a ricer, just love boost:D)

Anyone?
