How many accesories belt has my car?

Hi to all, I am on maintenance of my GSX, and I don't have the car near of me to check this out.

I am about to finish the timming belt job, and I am looking for a replacement of my accesories belts. I am not sure about this, if it has 2 or 3 belts.


I think, one is for the Steering pump MD178430, and another one for the water pump and Alternator MD186126, but I am not sure where the AC hooks too. Does it have it's own belt or is it a different belt for steering pump?

I have found some webpage that states that I should buy the "4PK0940", but I cannot find it on a spanish retailer.

Please can anyone just clarify me where I am wrong?

P/S V belt that just goes around the W/P and P/S pulley, Alternator serpentine belt that goes around the W/P, Alt. and crank pulley, and A/C serpentine belt that goes around the A/C, crank pulley, and A/C tensioner. Three belts in total if you have A/C.

Good! I was a bit confused about the AC one. Is there any other part number for that belt? I can find the first two on my country, but not the third one

I've been looking at this site, and to a european spare parts dealer (Vente en ligne de pièces auto d'origine pas cher – Pièces détachées) and I am a bit lost

Where can I find the original size of the belts? Factory fitted belts.

Rockauto -> 15/32 * 26 7/8 or 1/2" * 26 7/8 (about 11.90mm x 682.62mm)
gatsautocat or oscaro, equivalent to MD178430 -> 13 x 675mm <-SHORTER

AC Belt
Rockauto -> 9/16" x 38" (about 12.29mm x 965.20mm)
I was using a gates 48363 (about 970mm long) <- LONGER

ALT + WP
Rockauto 9/16" x 39 3/4" (about 12.29mm x 1009.65mm)
Gatesautocat or oscaro, equivalent to MD186126 -> 14* 993 mm <- Shorter


I see too many differences, and my belts were in a really poor shape. I want to discard any defect coming from a non adequate belt.

Five or ten millimeters here and there are not going to spell disaster. I run all Gates belts on my car, and I assure you, the quality is more than adequate. The belts are not self tensioning or anything, so you can adjust them back and forth several millimeters.

not to thread jack, but, what are the part numbers for all the gates racing belts? i have a stock 2g dsm (98 eagle talon tsi awd) will the belts you're running fit my application? i already have the timing and balance shaft belts.. thanks.
