420A How is this possible, keeps shredding alternator belts?

So has anyone else had a problem where there alternator pully bent. I have this 98 eclipse gs with original motor that has about 285k miles on it, with little rust. it keeps shredding alternator belts I've went through 3 belts in the past 4-5 months. I was checking my alternator last night and found out that it was bent. that I've found no one else is having this problem.

I have never seen this either, but you should replace it... I have a spare 420A alternator which is soaked in oil but the pulley is still good.

Thanks I bought one today and put it on so far it seems good. I'll give you an update in a week or so
