How far with my 14b?

Well my car currently has 3" turbo-back, UICP w/1g BOV, 190lph and boost control @ 15psi

My question is what will be the best time i'll get out of it?

Also what would be next inyectors or clutch?

With a stock suspension you will stay around the 14.8-15.4 range. You might go lower or higher, but that is what you will see with minimal mods as you have and NO suspension. Depending on many many things.

You need a clutch to put down any power. The injectors will help, but are useless if you can't put that new found power to the ground.

After a clutch I would atleast buy some suspension parts. It will help you more than you know.

My Galant went 12.79 on race gas with a 14B, 2G MAS, 3" Exhaust, 560's, ACT 2600, and 167,000 miles on the suspension. If I had a good suspension I could've gone a little quicker. I'd say mid to high 14's at best since you aren't gonna get any traction with FWD. I'd say do a clutch but with FWD I don't know if your gonna put the power to the ground anyway, maybe injectors would be the way to go.

Yes, if he was AWD I would have given him the benifet of the doubt (13.9-14.5). He is a 2G with FWD and has very limited mods on his car to run much better than what I stated. You have MANY things over him......AWD, better stock suspension, clutch, Injectors, Racegas, and I am guesing you didn't run 15psi.

As for the clutch, yes, he needs it very badly.


I am not flaming you or saying you are wrong, just keeping him level headed about his where-a-bouts so far in his setup.

besides gettin a clutch what are the best suspension mods? i dont mean to cut in but i have a 1.25 " drop with tokico shocks think ill run decently?? i dont have my clutch yet so i still have a lot of traction issues..o and my mods are the same as his pretty much and im runnin 15 psi as well 17" tires z rated if that helps

You could get around the 14.xx range. Depends on you driving now. You could use the clutch and injectors to get a better time/mph.

Sounds like you are good enough in the suspension territory. Keep it up.

forgot about suspension, i got tokico in the front/KYB GR-2 in the back w/sportlines, i got cheap tires tough

Best i have done is 15.3@93 without the turbo-back, this was doing 2.7 on 60ft

So clutch would be next after some good tires?
