Alright ive been going back and forth on this.my car has been spuddering and backfiring at about 5500.idles really rough at times.bucking the hole nine.and running about 14psi of boost.today i decided to unplung my MAF. at first it idle really bad.so i turned it off/tried it again and the car purrrrrrrrrrrrrz. took the car for a test run. and the car run's clean till about 7000rpm.nomore spudderz bucking nothing.but i have a little turbo lag now.but that the least of my problems.now is this safe? how is the car even running or starting without the maf pluged in?:confused:and one more thing i also have a bov blow to the atmosphere...how is this car running without all this and itz needed:confused:

sounds like you are running extremely rich with it plugged in, with it unplugged your letting all the air it wants be sucked in to counter act all the fuel being dumped in leveling out the richness, you are going to need to find the real problem thats causing the stuttering problem with it plugged in. are you getting any check engine lights or anything. I would advise to find the real problem before running your car any further.
