how do you know if you dsm came with keyless entry/alarm?

ok i got a 96 talon tsi awd, its loaded with everything...the boy i got it off of said he thought it had keyless entry but he didn't have a key fob....so how do i find out if he was just blowing smoke and telling the truth?

Well...lets start off by saying that a search would have found the answer for you.

But to answer your question thier is a black box located in the rear drivers side passenger panel (the one that the rear speaker is under) is this where the black box (brain) is located. If it's their then you have keyless if not then you don't.

It did. Get a fob off eBay, make sure it has FCC ID #GQ43VT6T, Then:
