How do I stop the biss screw from adjusting itsself

So I found out my Idle problem my biss screw is missing the cap and the rubber piece causing it to always adjust, does anyone know how to keep it from adjusting is there a way to stuff something in there that woould keep it from moving???

So the adjusting part could be my issue I've adjusted it 300 times now i'm trippin that I may have screwed something up, so how do I adjust this biss properly after I take it out without screwing things up

Since you have ECMlink, get the car up to operating temp and adjust the BISS slowly (1/2 turn, let it settle and repeat) until ISCPosition reads 30. If this is not in your list of captured/displayed values, make sure to add it.

Ok, and I've got it to 30 but it keeps fluctuating got to get that oring

Yeah you'll want to fix that leaky o-ring before you try making adjustments. Not sure if you live on a deserted island or not, but you should be able to walk into any Carquest, and buy 5 of those O-rings for a buck.

You could say its similar to a deserted islands my town still believes in shutting stores down at 6:30

The rubber cap is not needed. I have probably seen a handful of people that have it. Most people end up losing it and just don't replace it.

Carquest closes early here too, and I'm between two major cities. The big sucky DIY auto parts stores only carry every other size, so you'll just have to go on your lunch break if you want to buy a 20 cent item without paying shipping.

i don't believe the cap matters, i never had one.. and my car doesn't adjust by itself.. i believe it is just the o ring that just needs replaced..

I replaced the o-ring which created another tune issue , major knock again at around 5k rpms, tunning these thing's is not for the meek at hearts just saying, Tuning aint easy
