i've been having bad problems with my idle like when i am driving and throttle up, then press the clutch, the car stalls. i also get idle surge. i have tested the idle control motor, did a boost leak test and they all came out fine (fixed boost leaks). now i want to try and adjust the BISS screw properly but dont know how to ground the terminal for testing. the only pic i could see was of a 1g connector that looked different so i dont know what pin to ground and i dont know if i can get a tester.

can someone help me with this?

There are so many things too look for when you have shitty idle. First thing make sure you have no boost/vacuum leaks. Second thing you should check is your fuel pressure. This can cause a shitty idle. On a 2g it should be 43.5 with the FPS vacuum line plugged. This is so much easier to fix with dsmlink. Make sure you ISC is working proerly. Playing with the BISS screw will adjust this. You TPS volts are good? 0% at idle 100% at WOT. LTFT should be +-5, STFT should be 0 at idle, Make sure you Airflowperrev isnt to low, BOV can also cause stalling, Bad MAF. There are lots of thing. As for the ground for the BISS screw you need a scan tool to reset it. Here is a pic of what you need to ground.
