Can someone explain to me why The BISS Screw was made in plastic? I have gone through 2 trying to fix my idle surge problem! Even the slightest amount of umph and it breaks. Any alternatives?

You shouldn't have to use any "umph" on it at all?

It should practically be hand tight no matter where you have it set at.

What he said. If your idle is still not correct after it's fully seated, it's something else causing your problem.

I guess I dont have the feel for where it needs to be set. The O-ring is supposed to be placed in the little groove underneath the head of the screw, correct?

Thanks for the advice!
