Resolved How do i replace this? Pic Included

Well i was snooping around under my hood the other day and came across this piece broke off. Its connected to the coolant pipe but what is it exactly and how do i go about fixing it. Ive searched but didnt know what exactly i was looking for. Thanks for the help.

Looks like the coolant temperature sensor. It threads out of the water outlet. U might be able to get a wrench on it. If not, you will have to take off the outlet which is not hard at all.

19mm wrench. Its an AC Fan Temp Switch. Might have to call your parts store and explain to them what sensor it is, and a were it is. Its a two prong side by side. The others are 1 prong and 2 prong L shape. Tell them you dont want the 1 prong or the L shape.

I appreciate the fast reply.. since i now know what it is i was able to find this.. Is it the temp switch or sensor. I think its the switch going from the diagram and the placement of the switch vs the sensor

Tanro is correct, it is the temperature switch. I couldn't remember without seeing the connector attached.

You've got it. This is a switch, to send power to the A/C fan and the other is the signal for the ECU.
