Okay so i got a huge leak coming out of my stock bov and i wanna get the type rs (knock off). I obviously know how to hook up a stock one but how do you hook the type rs? Cause i know the stock one only has one hose coming off of it. but what do i do with the second hose on the type rs? i got a N/A throttle body with a manual boost controller going to it already if that helps.:banghead:

I would get a nice 1g bov. the one you have. I'm not sure if its a recirculating one, and im not sure what you mean by second hose one is the vacuum hose and the other should be to recirculate you bov.

The RS only has 1 hose hookup on it. You are probably referring to the type S not RS. But to answer, The top hose gets hooked up to your intake manifold same as it is stock and the 2nd port can be used to help lift up the diaphragm under low vacuum conditions. If you are experiencing surge before your pressure release, hook up the 2nd port to a boost source, The vaccum at the top of the diaphragm and the boost pressure under the diaphragm will help it open faster. the valve will not stay open as long using this method, so the sound will not be as loud. Hope this helps
