How do i install the greddy type s bov?

Hi before i get told to use the search bar, i did and nothing showed up that answered my questions.

Currently i have 1997 Eclipse GST Spyder, with a stock plastic 2g bov and a Evo3 16g turbo on stock boost levels. I was just trying to figure out how to install the greddy type s bov and recirculate it, would i need to upgrade to a UICP intercooler pipe with the greddy type s flange? Or would i just be able to to get a flange adapter off ebay and install straight on to my stock intercooler pipe?

You can do it either way, if it were me I would be upgrading the ic piping and getting the proper flange for the bov.

You can order the greedy flange that fits the stock tubing which is normally $20-$30 or you can't get a uicp that comes flanged for the type s

You could either do the greddy flange or the 1g flange and drill new holes for the type s.

It's better to just upgrade the piping that's for your bov.

I would at least get an UICP kit, if not a full kit or FMIC (one of which comes with a KO type-s). The stock upper intake is restrictive and prone to leaks. But you have to use a cone filter on the MAF in order to fit the larger piping.

To recirculate the BOV, one good options is to use Spa Hose.

I dont think anyone said this yet....just get an uicp flanged for the type S

Just upgrade your intercooler piping. Less likely to have any leaks

Best bet is to get a UICP kit with a greddy flange. They do make flanges for the stock bov pipe though.
