2G How bad would 18x8.5 with +55 offset rub on the suspension components?

I found a seller of some nice gold O.Z. rims that were on his VA WRX.
They're 18x8.5 with +55 offset. The highest I've seen is +45 recommended and this is a whole centimeter inside the wheel well.
Would this be similar to 18x9 with +45 offset?
I don't want to use spacers so should I just avoid these wheels?

Check out my build thread, I'm running 18x8.5 +38 with a 245/40/18 tire on the car. There's no way a +55 would fit as it would be even further in and would contact the knuckle. My setup is perfectly flush with the body of the car.

Anything close to a 40wall will be a problem. 30-35 is going to help but you will be super close or touch the knuckle which is the main issue. 2gb knuckles are needed for being deeper arc.
