Hood vent mod, tell me what you think

Looks sweet. The front two hood vents will look spectacular when painted. I don't like the NACA vent but, that is because I am a stickler for symmetry.

I actually changed that duct like 6 times before being somewhat happy with it. I even thought about moving it over closer to the edge( thanks Raph) but that would require more hacking and some creative ducting to clear the strut tower. I'm still a novice with S/M work! Hoping to get it in a final primer state over the next 2 days. I'll try to do a write up soon. Y

I really wanted to keep it symetrical and rwally wanting to raise it up and inch or two and eliminate the turbo hump.

At gixrman's suggestion I am throwing in a couple of pics of his mod idea that I did on my 1G. The car is only driven on sunny days and spends most of its life in pieces. Sadly the hood was bent beyond repair 2 weeks ago during a test run when I forgot to latch the hood pins. I have a FG hood now that I am hacking up in somewhat the same fashion but with the NACA duct in the center. I will post up pics when I really get into this thing in a couple of weeks. I have a few other projects going on that I have to finish.
