hood clearance with welded valve cover fittings

Quick question. Do 1G guys have clearance issues with fittings welded to the top of the valve cover? I have heard 2G guys do, but how about us 1G guys?

1gs have a drop more hood clearance. most clearance problems can be solved by removing hood bracing

Ive got one, no clearance issues here...

You could always do a mock up to check clearance. Use some modeling clay, put it on the valve cover, shut hood, and measure the clay after its squished.
