Hood clearance problems with Type-S

I got my type-S installed, and when I go to close the hood the adjustment screw on the top of the bov prevents my hood from closing. Can I saw off a few mm of this? or will I inadvertently mess something (or everything) up?

i have one in my car..do you have hard intercooler piping or stock piping?

oh.. well i know with the greddy upper intercooler piping mine closes perfectly..perhaps you should look into purchaing the uic piping kit before you go hacking up an expensive greddy type-s. I bought my car iwth the aftermarket piiping on it..never had any trouble with the greddy hardpiping/ type s combo clearing the hood.
