Does it sound plausible to b20 swap a 1993 gs? Not specifically b20 but maybe any Honda engine

Anything is possible with enough fab work.

You’d make more power, more torque, and have a (subjectively) better sounding car with a 4G63T though. If it’s the GS with the 2.0, you can turbo it pretty easily and not have to swap anything in. Get stock turbo 1G parts, add 5 wires to the harness, and go. Probably have to source a FWD Turbo trans because the N/T one won’t last super duper long at turbo power levels but it’s a lot cheaper than swapping in some Honda engine and trans and all the metal fab you’d have to do. Then on top of that you’d have to pay Honda prices to make it any kind of competitive with a 4G63 car, AND you’d have to deal with the horrible b series sound. Bleh.

It’s been going on 30+ years now with these cars. There’s a reason that the Honda swaps for these cars never caught on.

I appreciate your responses, do you guys know where to buy a 4g63t? One of the reasons I was thinking of Honda swapping was because the engines are a lot easier to find

They are frequently posted for sale on the DSMT classified adds, and in a range of stock to high performance setups. Ebay also has them, but be aware that these motors are reverse oriented in Evo applications, and were also sold in some Hyundai platforms, so compatibility may be an issue. Getting one from a 1g/2g dsm is most straightforward.

DSMTuners classifieds, Facebook marketplace, Facebook dsm buy/sell groups, RIX Racing, etc. don’t buy engines from Miller import parts because he misrepresents stuff and doesn’t take responsibility when he sells you a “0 mile freshly rebuilt engine” and it’s a rod knocking piece of junk with oil in the exhaust ports.

But yeah. Any trusted vendor like RIX Racing or classifieds are your best bet.
