Is painting a car yourself very difficult? I use to do custom airbrush work on skateboards for a living, so I'm not completely without experience, but how much more* difficult/different is it?

to awnser the first question about orange peal....take alook at any oem paint job lets say your moms ride or your own do you see a kind of ruff "orange peal" look to the paint(thats really the clear) if not look harder:cool: they only call it orange peal because it looks like an orange peal. for the second question the best way to discribe painting a whole car is tht 95% is prep work(in my case 7 months of it)5% is actual painting....spraying the paint is easy just have to remember if you mess up your prep went in the crapper and were you messed up (a drip or lint dirt....ect)will have to be sanded and repainted. but other then that it just time and money what do you have to loose.;)
