Does this work with alarms ? I couldnt find this answer ? I have a greddy that when it turns the car off the alarm doesnt set , do any of them ? just curious before i buy it

Never tried to set the alarm while my car was idling on the turbo timer... For normal driving, I park the car, unhook the harnesses, then let the TT run it for 30 seconds, which is about how long it takes the check the switches and gauges one last time and egress from the vehicle. Then, I set the alarm...

If I'm at a track and have the TT set at 5-10 minutes, I don't set the alarm, nobody's gonna mess with it there :)

no no i dont want to set it while i am at idle. What i do is say i get home and normally i set it for like 2 mins then go in for the night . I have to wait for it to go off before i can set alarm and sometimes i forget.

Also what is the normal time it should be set for if you are doing "normal" driving. Like said before i normally do 2 mins.

There is a mod out there yes, my buddy did it what it did was count down and then roll up the windows close the moon roof and the alarm would auto set. I forgot where i saw the link but there is a mod out there for the HKS.

something like this

Your car doesn't idle when you stop moving???

30 seconds or so is fine for "norma"l driving, unless you don't have a water cooled turbo.
