HKS turbo timer, turn key off and it times but engine shuts off.

My greddy went caput so I got an HKS type 0. Put it in with the plug n play harness, grounded the ground and the ebrake wire (didn't feel like connecting it to the ebrake so I just grounded it). When I shut the car off, it starts timing but the engine cuts out too. Whats going on?

try ungrounding it.

I've ran into this before...ended up being a burned up TT.

Try ungrounding it but, usually when the ebrake is tripped it shuts everything down, not just the engine. Which tells me the TT is not in control of the ignition.

that or he has it wired up wrong.
