HKS Springs Come With Retainers?

Anyone know if the HKS spring set comes with retainers? If they don't, anyone know of a good set for a street driven car? It won't be a daily driver. More like a weekend car when the weather's nice and I'll also be tracking the car all summer. The head is going to have HKS 272's with the HKS cam pulleys, ferrea valve guides and 6000 series valves. Plus the head is going to get new valve seats and be ported and polished. The car's hopefully going to be putting down around 350 to 400 hp. Thanks for the help.

Have you looked into Evo VIII/IX springs and retainers? They are very decently priced and work well with the 272's

Hk$ spring kit doesen't come with retainers,you use your stock retainers. You should pick up a set of supertech single springs,they come with retainers and are enough for Hk$ cams

I have set up a 4g63 head BC springs with stock retainers and HKS 272 and have not heard of any issues, BUT this was a "stinger class" N/A car, been raced for 2 seasons and no issues with the head.

I use to run the HKS springs but they are not that great, they are just bit better then stock. They also do not come with retainers but other venders to sell other makes of springs that come with a whole kit.
