I have bc 272 cams and I was wondering if anybody is running Manley springs with stock retainers with 272 cams

NICE! I'm going to get them and give them a go! How much did it help, performance wise
You will not notice a preference gain per say, but with supporting mods you can reach that power goal you want, allowing for a performance gain. Supporting mods being cams springs fuel pump etc, the list goes on.
You could notice a performance gain if your springs are not sufficient for the set of cams, floating, replacing these springs at this point would net you a performance gain.
