Kelfords with Bc springs/retainers

I have Bc springs and retainers in my head. Has anyone run kelford 272s successfully with this combo? These are what i have.

It is no secret that I use alot of BC1100 springs.

I will not reccommend that you use the BC1100 springs will Kelford 272 cams.

Look into the Kiggley, ferrea, or GSC Beehives.

There has been a few straight single springs fail with the use of the Kelford272 cams.

Is there any extra machine work that needs to be done to the head in order to fit any of the Kiggley, ferrea or GSC springs?

Some will take a extra thick spring pad to get the proper installed height.

But with any spring, the installed height needs to be checked and prper installed height set for that brand of spring.

Gotcha. I actually have a set of Crower (not bc) springs and titanium retainers that I was thinking about switching over from. I know they work well with hks 272's but I was thinking of going with a set of kelford 272's or even a 280 type of cam.
