High Oil Pressure

So my talon runs with fairly high oil pressure all the time.

Well Under Idle conditions everything is fine, and the pressure seems like it is where it should be.
But when Im driving the pressure goes up considerably.

I run a 20w/50 synthetic blend in my car, after doing some research I guess that this is bad in itself.

But is that really my problem?

that is your problem. the oil is so thick it can't flow as fast as lets say 5w30 so it is creating high pressure. switch to a 5w30 and you will be ok

Define high? Idle should be about 18-20 psi and driving should take it up to 70-90 depending on rpm. But you should be running some 5 or 10 weight. I run 10w30 in the winter and 40 in the summer

The rule of thumb is 10 psi of oil pressure for every 1000 rpm of engine speed.

Did you do a balance shaft removal?
