Having issues where at whatever temp range, I have a steady idle at around 1500rpm with a spark advance reading of 20-22°, sometimes idles at 1200 at 11-16°, but thats more rare. I’ve come across what seems to be a chewed up plastic biss, and a 1g tps (3 pin) on a 2g car (97 gst). And whats that little hard line venting to? Looks like it should go somewhere. I’ve already replaced coolant temp sensor (single wire connector), thermostat, maf, among a few other parts not related. Car drives *ok*. Slight buck occasionally when shifting, and very rarely I’ll get a tiny buck while in gear enough to almost feel like the tb closes, along with tiny bov flutter akin to when i let off at low boost.

Start here please ide issues can be a number of things.
Start where? Basically all im asking is if the 3pin 1g sensor will cause issues with a 2g car, and if there is any performance reason on why i should not just get a 2g sensor and replace the current sensor. And random hard line venting to atmosphere? Seems like it would cause issues with vacuum, and i would like to know if that line is supposed to be vented, or does it go to anything.

So just use a 2g sensor no need in making it harder than you need to. AGain idle issues can be a lot fo things. Performance its not going to improve anything use., whats the history on the car. is this a new issues. Have you adjusted the biss screw, any boost leaks, Is everything capped off of sealed meaning the tube you referenced to.

Get a 2g TPS and follow this:

I would get a new BISS screw w/ o-ring and set that correctly. Find out there that tube goes or cap it.

Definitely start with the proper TPS. It contains the closed throttle switch on 2G's, so basically the ECU has no idea when the throttle is closed.
Yea that makes a lot of sense. When i first got the car i would idle at almost 2500 rpm until i started replacing basically every hose and coupler. I feel like im getting real close
