I'm having troubles diagnosing the cause of my high idle. The car idles around 2000K-2200K on cold start. I watch my RPM's on the logger and as it starts to warm up I can see it start to step down 2000-1950-2000-1950-2000-1950-1900-1950-1900 etc... finally settling down to about 1100k rpm.
Once the car is warm and being driven , it tends to idle high 2000k at stops and in gear. The car will idle high even when in gear and coasting 3rd gear 2krpm the car drives itself I can control the idle some what at a stop by feathering/slipping the clutch .
I have replaced the TB seals, cleaned the TB, lined up the TB plate as well as I could, tested the ISC at 70* 30.6 on all coils, and all new gaskets on TB.
Boost leak test, very small leak from AFPR, working on that.
I tried setting the BISS , I could get the idle down to a nice smooth 750-800rpm but when I pulled the jumper and restarted the car, idle was still high.
Going to try testing the ISC for movement tonight.
Any suggestions or test I could perform, possibly FIAV , EGR ?
