So I've had this problem for a long while. For a while i had 2g maf and 550's and had a crazy lean problem...

Well now I've gotten dsmchips ecu programmed for the 2g maf and the 550's. Changed out the fuel regulator, new ECU... Last motor went bad so i changed out the motor for a rebuilt one.

Same problem with this setup, the ecu is programmed for 47 psi fuel and i have it cranked to 60 psi just to help richen it up. I'm sitting at around 117 for my high and mid trims and almost 130 for my low.

Is there anything i'm missing?

Oh yeah, I've got egr and charcoal canister removed.

? maybe larger injectors ? Even though it's programmed, but where you're also at sea level, that could also be the factor in this situation...got too much oxygen .. and in that, the Ox sensor is having fun with your setup as well ..

So I have talked to Jeff, he sent me an email explaining the math and said it should be right. Ill look for the email. As for the o2 sensor it sweeps just fine as I just replaced it recently. Logging with pocket logger.

Ill do a blt, tho I did one a while back and had only the TB leaking out its shaft seals.

I'm running GM Maf with the translator set to 2g right now with 3in GM sensor. Got my base knob at 0 (430) and its got the trims in about the same place as the original 2g maf. Only problem is I can't go richer.

Quick question tho, wouldn't loosing metered air cause more of a rich situation?

It's the un-metered air entering the mix that is making things lean.

I had a similar situation. 680's, 2g maf, supra 1020 fuel pump, Still lean. I turned my fuel pressure up and it seems to have taken care of it.
I would check the fuel lines to make sure they are not crushed or leaking. I have read about people leaking at the pump in the tank too, The fix for that is putting a piece of fuel line from the pump to the sending unit to eliminate the o rings. Have you replaced the fuel filter?

I dont recall replacing the filter, ill do that today if they got one at the local auto store. If i have to ill replace the o-rings with fuel line.

It cant hurt. What i did when i changed my fuel filter was blow air through the feed line back to the sending unit.(The feed was disconnected from the pump) to make sure there was no restrictions. I did the same for the return.

I got the new filter and modified the fuel hanger to take the fuel line instead of the o-ring. After driving around to see if my trims changed, no such luck.

So when i get access to an air compressor ill do the BLT and see if i can get my throttle body rebuilt.
