high fuel pressure required for car to run

So, my 2g needs about 42 psi, not capped
, in order to run. When I lower it to 43 psi capped, the car dies. I have only a base tune for my bigger injectors, so a bad tune is out.

What would cause this? Fuel filter? Broken afpr?

What is "capped", and how is 43 lower than 42?

You could have some clogged injectors.

Yes this is correct. I would guess your injectors are clogged

What is the pressure thet the injectors are happy at?

I see no afpr in your profile as well as no fuel pump upgrades.

Oh sorry. I did have a walbro 255, but it was on its way out. So there is a dw300 in there now. AFPR is an aeromotive unit.

I have FIC 750cc injectors. I took them out and cleaned them already, no change. I guess I can toss in my old evo injectors and see what happens.

Car runs EXTREMELY lean btw, when the fuel pressure is up that high. It pegs the wideband.
