Doing an ECU swap in my 98 Spyder GS. The ECU that's going in it is out of a 99 GSX (flashable).

Ceddy said there were some differences with the ECU's concerning the Fuel Pump Relay (Spyder using 5v and HT using 12v). I could use a Fuel Pump Rewire for this right? Run Pin #8 wire back to the relay and bypass the grey module?

It's Auto if that makes any difference

From what i can tell, looking at both pinouts, the only difference b/t the Spyder and GST is that the Spyder is missing:

pin 3: Fuel Pressure Solenoid
pin 7: Engine/Transaxle General Control Torque Reduction Request Signal 1
pin 8: Fuel Pump Relay (not missing but different voltage)

pin 43: Engine/Transaxle General Control Torque Reduction Request Signal 2
pin 46: Engine/Transaxle General Control Torque Execution Signal

pin 58: Tach Signal Output (Engine Ignition Signal on GST)
pin 61: Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (Spyder has this and GST does not...)

pin 78: Knock Sensor (+)
pin 91: Park/Neutral Switch (originally Chassis Ground)

-I don't think the FP Solenoid needs to be there right?
-What the **** is Engine/Transaxle General Control Torque Reduction Request Signal and does it need to be there or will it throw CEL's or worse not even run/shift right?
-What do i do with Engine/Transaxle General Control Torque Execution Signal?
-Pin 91 doesn't need to be grounded anymore correct? just to the P/N Switch?
-can i just eliminate pin #61 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
