help with tach

i recently bought a 90 tsi talon and the previous owner decided to remove the coil pack and just splice the wires for coil on plug im just looking for a way to hook the tach back up

ok i tried the noise filter fix and still no tach but i was assuming it wasnt going to work i have nothing else hooked up to send any signal like stated earlier i would need a tach adapter but i included some pics of the tacho interface and cut the tape off all the wiring and have a white wire not hooked up at all does anyone know if there is a way to use the tacho interface to send a signal to the tach

i believe since the tach wire is not connected you may have to switched to using a 91 gsx power transistor which you will have to wire that white tach wire to the transistor. there is write up i believe but i cant find it
