so unlike my first post i actually took a couple of hours and looked around and i cannot find a decent writeup on how to install a autometer tach on my car. i have the adapter and i still cant find out how to do it. can someone please just tell me where the wire is that i need to hook up to and which color it is. thanks
sam

You can do that or you can go to the coil pack and there should be 3 wires. 1 HOT/ 1 GROUND/ AND 1 SIGNAL. I cant remember the color but your gonna want the signal wire. I had mine like that for 4 years in my other eclipse and It worked fine. If you have a Haynes manual it should have a wiring outline in the back.
