Sorry my first day posting today. I did not know we can't bump threads in this forum. This forum is strict. But let's start over. I won't bump threads anymore.

I need help finding the tach wire on a 95 RS. I tried searching and did not find anything for a 2gen. Please help.

I have searched all over the forum and can't find the answer. There has to be someone out there that has found the tach wire to a non turbo eclipse 2nd gen.

same problem 95 GS N/T tried every wire I could find under dash and under hood and nothing reads in 4Cyl mode all 2 cyl readouts.

There is a small black box about 3/8 thick and about 1 3/4 wide and says "transistor" or "power Transistor" on it. Its flat and black and in the middle of its hanress there is a white wire that is your tach signal.

i get a reading from the white wire but its not a clean signal it jumps all over place. Must have to have a tach filter?

With the LM1 WB02 you just hook the white wire to its inputs and go there is no filters or anything. I also believe when using a shift light or anything else its just a direct hook up no filters or anything.
