BEP sent me their Hx40 T3 .70 ar housing and it doesn't fit!!! The dimensions I measured on the housing are 76.9mm on the exducer diameter and 61.24mm on the inducer diameter. The problem is my Hx40 turbine wheel has a 73.6mm exducer(which fits) and 67.4mm inducer(that DOES NOT fit) that is over 6mm difference. Something has to be wrong, I'm hoping it is BEP because I really want one of these housing to work. I was wondering who else has one on their car and what is the turbine wheel size on their Hx40? I don't know if they just sent me the wrong unit since they make one for the Hx35 or if my turbine is just too big. Also they sent me a bolt on -12an flange with male threads for the Hx40, but it won't fit on the return without hitting the compressor housing and that is before even trying to screw on the female piece. BEP said you can't run a -12an on an Hx40 it won't fit...but my drain measures .75" for a reason and I know there are several people on here doing it. If I can get any feedback on these issues it would be MUCH appreciated. Thank You

That turbine housing is for a HX35 if it's 6mm too small.

The -12AN drain flanges have plenty of clearance for a HX35/HX40; apparently not the case on the H1C/H1E turbos. You may have to cut away a little of that backplate for clearance, and install the drain flange with the hex already fitted and tightened (flat side facing the backplate).

Thanks a lot! I was hoping you would respond, you seem very knowledgable. Bill at BEP said he would call me back tomorrow morning with so more info about what could have happened with the mix up. Anyways, does this fitting look like a -10an through hole to you with maybe -12an threads? This fitting is big and still needed to move like 1/8" more just for the bolts to line up. Yes my turbo is actually an H1E but for the sake of asking my ? to the public I just called it an HX40. Do you think I can really cut that much away from the backplate/v-band without ruining the the v-band? I really don't want to go with an -10an with the .075" restrictor I plan on using. Unless I could safely go with like a .060" to .065" restrictor with the -10an return, but it sounds like the majority of people here on tuners don't think -10an is big enough. What do you think? Thanks a bunch I really appreciate your response.

BEP said that this is the wrong housing, and they are sending me the right one the same day, great service! QUESTION FOR ANYONE ON HERE. Has anyone ran an H1E? If so what kind of oil feed and return setup did you do? Any input would be awesome. Thanks
