Help with air valve stem on Leak tester

I need an 1/4 npt threaded Air Vaulve stem.

So If I purchased an 20 gallon tank and filled it up with air they would mate.
Can anyone help me out.

I just used a tire valve you can get at any parts store (even fred meyer) for a buck or two. Drilled a hole in the tester cap and pulled the thing through with the valve core tool (the small cross shaped one with 4tools in 1). That might be easier for ya.

More along the lines of a special design.

I know they are out there 1/4npt - > air valve stem.

Im just asking someone to help me out with pervious knowledge of were to look.
2 hours of google and my head hurts from looking at the same exact tire stem that you ahve to drill with.

So you need a regular schrader valve, but with 1/4 npt threads that screw into the base instead of the normal size? (Which I assume is probably 1/8 npt.) You aren't talking about the threads where the valve cap screws on, right? You should be able to get a 1/4 to 1/8 npt brass adapter bushing at a hdwe store for 2 bucks. Unless I misunderstand your question? I made my BLT with my current tap & die set which contains 1/8 npt tap. That's why I assume that is the normal size.

Air Tool1/4npt connection ->[Regulator w/ 1/4npt inlet & outlet]-> 1/4npt connection air stem -> 20lbs air container.

So it looks like wret took care of me. 1/4 npt on one side and air stem on the other.
