Help please...i was attempting to adjust my throttle cable when i pulled it out i hit the positive battery terminal and it sparked...now my throttle is sticking...it will idle at 1200 and when i hit the gas it goes all the way up and stays up??? Help!!

Yes you can replace it with a non cruise cable. I'm going to assume you are going to pull out the cruise control box then too?

It's a simple install and only a total of 4 bolts for the new cable to be put on. When you do put it on, route the length of the cable under the intake manifold for a cleaner look.

The cable may not be melted, but there is most likely a big berry on it. Best thing to do is just replace it with an OEM cable.

Yes...do u have any pics so i know what im dealing with? the cheapest cable i found is 53$ shipping and all...

What pics are you referring to? The 4 bolts are located at: 2 on the bracket that holds the cable on the intake manifold and 2 that bolt onto the fire wall where it comes in.

Ok I just got my new non cruise throttle cable and finished the install...but it seems like the cable is loose...the car is idling around 900 so that's fine...but it stalls after high rev and going to neutral...I need help please
