Ok I have a 1995 Eagle Talon tsi awd and i was wanting to get about 300 to the wheels .
Ok this is what i have now on the car i have a 3inch catback exhaust and an intake. What do i need to make my goal for now. And aslo what kind of program tuner or afc or what should i go with. Thanks for the help.:talon:

If you have the cash I would get dsmlink. If you cant afford it than an safc would be fine. A true evo 16g would work fine for that goal. Dsmlink or safc, 16g, 650cc injectors, 255lph fuel pump, AFPR, wbo2 and you should be set. I would also through a fmic in that list.

It all depends on the route that you want to take. Personally, this is what I would do.

First of all, complete your turboback. A bigger turbo isn't going to help you if you boost-spike like crazy due to a lot of back pressure. I reccommend a 3" Thermal R&D catback (yours should be fine as it's 3" TR&D cat-back sounds amazing though.), 3" Megan downpipe, inexpensive and adds a deeper tone, and then, you can either get a 2.5" recirculated, or 2.5" open dump o2 housing. Open dump allows for better boost control, aka releasing more back pressure. :) For your goals, a recirculated would be sufficient. Factory exhaust manifold will be fine, too.

Intake wise, ebay knockoff would work, or you could go big and get the Forced Performance 4" intake. Very nice. :) You would need a reducer coupler matching the inlet of your turbo. A maxed out 14b at around 25psi would get you to your mark. Faster spool up than the 16g, too. However, the Evo III 16g is really powerful. It could put you over the 300 mark if you have the right supporting mods (the ones I am currently listing). I'd say 20psi on the 16g would get you to your goals.

Boost source you will definately need a boost controller. I reccommend the Hallman Pro RX Kit. It's flawless. It doesn't back loose and so easy to adjust. Not only that it is inexpensive compared to the others.

Fuel you will need atleast 550cc's. You can go with 650-750's but you are going to need something to monitor A/F ratio (AEM UEGO Wideband o2 Sensor/Gauge) and something to adjust the A/F ratio ( DSMLink v2.0! )

Fuel pump, you can make it on the Walbro 190lph and not have to run an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, or you can get the Walbro 255lph high pressure and snag an Aeromotive Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator. Your fuel rail will be perfectly fine.

Factory long block and drivetrain will handle that power easily. I would reccommend a ACT 2100 and Street Disc mated with a Fidanza Aluminum Lightweight Flywheel. Rev faster and better engage for launch. If you were going for 400hp, I would reccommend the ACT 2600, but that's not your goal.

You can never go wrong with a FMIC. I wouldn't reccommend any other than the one I bought from a fellow DSMTuner. Look on the classified section and search for 2g Short Route FMIC sold by Mangina24. It is huge and very efficient. 33.5x10x3.5 is the dimensions. ICP is great. Quick and easy install. It comes with all T-bolt clamps and black couplers. You can get it for about $330 shipped.

Of course, a boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, and a wideband are a must once you start modding for bigger numbers. It will help out more than you expect in the long run.

That should have you more than ready to light up the streets. Do it once, and do it right the first time. It will save you from all the headaches. DSMs are fast, but you gotta take care of them or you will be under them more than you are in them. :dsm:

Do all your balljoints, wheel bearing,cv axels and shocks first if you havnt.Theres no reason to worrie about power if you havnt done the proper safty stuff first! Then move on to brakes (not stock)becasue when you drive faster you need to STOP FASTER! Then timing belt and all pulleys ,tensioner, water pump, and a harmonic balancer. This stuff is far more important first. Then move on to everything else 2GAWD4U2NV said.
