I am going to be purchasing parts for the talon, probably buying a beater this weekend so i can park the talon and put the miles on the beater (back and fourth to college).

So what im pretty muc doing is building up a street.track car, and i want to know what you think of this setup.

evo 3 16g
550cc
190 pump
act 2600
two bfgw Drag Radials
maybe a SBR fmic, heavent decided on the fmic yet
3 inch dp

i have currently

3 inch apexi n1
blitz dual sbc
k&n fipk
boost/air fule gauges

can you guys give me your .02 about this set up?

im looking for mid to low 12s

You'll outrun the 550's if you max out the Evo 3 and especially if you ever upgrade again. You'll need some sort of fuel control with the larger injectors. If you are dead set on the 550's though I could sell you my old Keydiver chip, that is if you have an Eprom ECU.

I have been talking to many different ppl abour wither 550cc or 660cc, if i do go with the 660s will i need any sort of fpr?

If you were going with a 255 pump you would need an FPR. With the 190 pump you could get by without one. Also about the clutch, it all depends on how much power you wanna make. The 2100 is only rated at 322lb ft.

This is basically my setup, except the drag tires, and I have 2 1/2" turbo back. My engine is getting rebuilt right now, but it was running really strong without the fmic and the 2600. I could feel the clutch slipping though. I tune with a logger and an safc. and I just ordered an act 2600, and a br FMIC. so I hope I will see major differences when it gets back together. hopefully by next week.
