help on buying new engine

either my valve seals or piston rings are shot, im just gonna buy a new engine but i need help.

i want to know from you guys where i can buy some good engines for the cheapest you can find. Also any good place that will swap the engine and mods too.

main problem is oil burning, blue smoke coming out of the exhaust, then little problems such as boost leak coming from intake pipe im almost positive.

Does the car still have power? Your seals on the turbo might be out, I had a similar issue few years ago... Do a compression and leak down test to check, could be many things.

yeah i got power, just no turbo, it used to kick in once in a while now its not kicking in at all, cant even hear my BOV anymore.

i pulled the spark plugs, one had oil and all were burnt, car barely has oil in it so idk if thats why they didnt have oil on them but is that contribute to anything?

Like what was previously mentioned check the turbo for shaft play if it has an excessive amount of play it could be leaking the oil into the exhaust and would also explain the lack of boost that your feeling. Plus a turbo is much cheaper than a whole motor. Not to mention the chance to upgrade a little.

Do a compression test then. If any of are below 130 or any of the numbers are more then 15% different then the others it's time for a rebuild. I would still check the turbo if you have never tho. Takes 2 minutes tops

I have 155 across all cylinders, pulled mine exhaust manifold and saw that I have 7/8 leaking exhaust valve stem seals

OP- check like stated, check your compression. My burns oil at idle. If I sit for more than 2-3 minutes @ lights or traffic once I get on the gas I get a nice little puff of blue smoke and it takes about 2 weeks for my car to lose 1 qt of oil. I check it almost daily and keep notes on it.

ALSO did you check the turbo for shaftplay as stated above as well? that's a easy one to rule out within a few minutes and check your IC piping for oil definitely indicating turbo seals.

will do thanks!!! ill keep everyone posted, maybe in a couple days i can have one of my friends come through with a compression tester and leak down tester.
