I have a question ive been looking all over its for the ne-point on my safc2
ive been seeing these 1k, 2k, 3k, 4k, 4.5k, 5k., 6k, and 7k for their Ne-Points.

my question is
how do i get 4.5 or on some ive seen 5.5 i cant get mine to do ODD numbers, mine only does, even numbers like 4.4 or 5.6
im such a noob LOL
but if any one can help me out it would be awsome.

and 1 more thing see where it has 5k., up top is their supposed to be something after it? like 5.5? i took these off RRE'S RRE's Super AFC Setting and Adjustment Tips

You can honestly use whatever you want for the Ne point settings as long as they are spread throughout the entire rpm range. I prefer to have one below the idle, such as 600rpm and I like to use the "extra" points wherever your turbo reaches full spool.

You can't get 4.5k, since you're limited to even numbers, but going with 4.6k won't hurt anything.

Oh Good, i thought my AFC Was bad, so maybe use the same settings instead of 4.5, use 4.6 what do you guys think would be good settings? im putting my 560cc injectors in tomorrow. then ill basically have this exact setup,

Big 16 G Turbo, Apex Cat Back, RRE DP-3" Cat, Filter, 19psi, Front Mount I/C, Walbro 255 HP in tank pump, 550cc Injectors, honeycombs all in, Adjusting screw left alone, Big GReddy FMIC

Low Setting:
1K +-2 2K -4 3K -6 4K -10 5K -10 5.5K -10 6K -10 7K -10
High Setting:
1K -21 2K -23 3K -24 4K -23 5K -22 5.5K -22 6K -21 7K -18
TH-Point
Lo 30% Hi 80%

should i use these setting OR these ones

Th-Point to 69 for Lo and 70 for Hi. Set the Ne-Point so the RPM points are 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 4500, 5000, 6000, 7000 for stock rev limiter,
Thanks Guys

If you are on the 16g, I would use something like this provided you aren't running over 7k:

600, 1000, 2000, 2600, 3400, 4000, 4400, 5000, 5400, 6000, 6400, 7000

After you start tuning, we might need to juggle them around a little bit based on your results, but that will get you started.

Oh, and don't forget to set your sensor type as Karmen, TPS trigger points at 30% and 80% along with the arrow pointing in the North East direction.

Awsome Thanks Bud! :D
what about for the settings? i have the exact setup Big 16 G Turbo, Apex Cat Back, RRE DP-3" Cat, Filter, 19psi, Front Mount I/C, Walbro 255 HP in tank pump, 550cc Injectors, honeycombs all in, Adjusting screw left alone, Big GReddy FMIC

would those be some good settings?

Every car is different... no two cars will be the same... so you can use other peoples numbers as rough estimates at best...

Just do some logging and work on your tune. First do the low throttle and get your fuel trims decent, then work on the high throttle settings.

Do you have a logger? If not, since you have a 95 you'll probably want Evoscan which is $25. You don't need the expensive cable from Evoscan because that is for flashing Evos. You can get a USB logging cable (KKL Vag Com) on ebay for only $14 that works with Evoscan on 2g DSM's and most other newer Mitsu stuff. The logging rate is not that good (10 samples per second) on the 95 ECU, but it's the best thing out there right now since it logs faster and shows a lot more data than OBDII based stuff does.

no i dont have a data logger, i dont have the obd1, ive got OBD2 mine was the late 95, weird.
do i still use the evoscan? i just dont know what i all have to buy, i know i can use the palm-m-100 but for the cable and software is like 99$ from here PocketLOGGER for DSMs Overview
is this ok?

ok ill do that, but mines weird when you floor it, it goes up to 43psi, at idle its at 25psi is it supposed to be like that? and the reason i turned it down in the first place was because i was hitting fuel cut real bad. and now i dont even hit fuel cut

You need to set fuel pressure with the vacuum line off, once you put the vacuum line back on the pressure will drop, this is normal. Also fuel cut has nothing at all to do with fuel flow, only airflow.

Fuel cut goes by airflow and has nothing to do with fuel pressure. Set your base fuel pressure with the vacuum line off, and when you connect it the pressure will go down as it should because of vacuum.

sweet, thanks for the replys.
i put it back to 43psi for the fpr but im running rich, and another thing is when i floor it someting is happening its not fuel cut, its like a FLUTTER when i hit high rpms, maybe plugs or wires? what should i gap my plugs at, any one know ?

I would recommend that you go one step colder with the plugs and gap them between 0.026 - 0.028". New wires would be a good idea also, especially if they haven't been replaced in awhile. Have you done a boost leak test lately?

How do you know you're running rich? What correction factors are you using to compensate for the 560's. What do your fuel trims look like at idle?

ok.. so i got the flutter fixed, gapped plugs i also switched to bpr7es, new plug wires, i cant tell if im running rich but my gas is getting eaten up really fast, and my compensation are all at 0's. any suggestions till i get to the dyno? the closest dynos 350 miles away:mad:

I'm sorry, Is it that hard to change the title so your not speaking slang and write any? NE- isn't Any and you had to type the same amount of letters. That just makes it harder for when people use the search feature on the site.

Is it hard to know what you are talking about before you start bashing people?

Ne Points are the SAFC's RPM selecting points for airflow correction.
