i just got a new motor and a stage 2 port one the head now i got the motor and the valve cover and block are different colors and the stage 2 port job on the head is a lil shady looking has a lot of rought spots what you think here are some pics please look closely !!! thanks for all of you all opinions before hand

In pic 1 is the thermostat housing looks dirty and like they just hottanked and left it

In pic 2 looks like they knicked the hell out of them valve body

In pic 3 looks like they left a whole lotta rough stuff between the valves wich i thought was supposed to be smooth

AM I just being anal or is this cool and would yall accept it if it were you ???

So after i get my refund who do you all suggest to do a complete engine build ???

Myself. Honestly, do it yourself. Send the block and head of to a local shop that you know for a fact does good work. The best way to build a block in my opinion is by yourself. Good learning ability and fun as well. You have many people on here that will help you with your every question and the search bar is perfect too.

the 4 cylinder with the overhead cams scares me a lil tho ### of the cams

Just read the torque specs. The Chilton/Haynes manual is your best friend for a first time build.

I'm sure you'll do just fine with the experience you already have. Just get your money back and go from there.
