Help me Please! Driver side front wheel problem

My front driver side wheel does not sit in the middle of the wheel well. Instead it sits closer to the door, any help and explanation would help.

Wow that is sitting pretty far back. Does your car even drive straight? Has the car ever been in an accident? I would start by checking all suspension related components.

I've known about it for a while. It rubs on the fender when I hit hard dips, therefore I try to avoid them. It pulls a little to the left, but that's do to disalighnment and I haven't aligned because I have yet to buy a camber kit. Im not too sure if the car has been wrecked before, however my initial assumption is that it might be my lower control arm.

There is another thread where a member in Canada is having the same issue with his 2g. Ill see if I can find the thread.

You mean to tell me you have lowered your car, didn't do it properly by not purchasing a camber kit, and knew about it being offset like that and your asking for help as to why its like that..WTF Call me nuts but you should of fixed that issue right away as it looks unsafe for all.

As for not knowing prior accidents, did you recently purchase it? Does it have a salvage title?

Grab a buddy, or girlfriend if you have too. measure the center to center from front to back on both the driver's side and the passenger's side.

The car has been lowered every since I purchased it, and on eibach sportlines, if you know sportlines that's a low drop. The cars isn't unsafe or I would'nt drive it.

I lifted up with Eibach Pro-Kits and replaced all struts. I've owned the car for approximately 2 years.

Compression arm.

EDIT: Sorry, I posted this from my phone and got interrupted. The last time that this happened I'm almost positive that it was a problem with the compression arm bushing. I've been searching for 15minutes but can't find the the thread I'm thinking of. If it turns up I'll be sure to link it here.

The lower lateral arm and compression arm are both forged components, so very tough and unlikely to bend easily. I would also look at a possible bent crossmember (the area where the lower lateral arm mounts). The compression arm can be pushed back, but this would possibly rotate the knuckle because of the two ball joints.

Any way you can take off the rim and snap a pic of the suspension on that side, almost like something is installed incorrectly or backwards.
