Rattling coming from front drivers side wheel area when braking

Exactly what the title says...but unlike the other similar posts...this only happens when I'm braking, I also feel a lot of vibration on the brake pedal. I changed the brakes about a month ago so they're not worn. Tire shows no signs of damage, neither does the rim. If I was to take a guess I would say maybe the strut/shock is worn out? My car is lowered and never had that problem before...I did the "Bounce" test and it shows now signs of the shock being faulty. I checked all the bolts and bushing related to anything on the wheel on that side and everything checks out fine but I still can't get rid of that noise

When you replaced the brakes did you also change out the rotors? Warped rotors can sound like that

Rotors looked to be in good shape so I only did the pads, I have an old rotor laying around so I might just try swapping them and see if the problem persists. Thanks.

Try the wheel hub. I had the same problem with my mazda, changed out the wheel hub and the vibrating and noise went away.

Just buy new rotors. I bet one is shot; I know one is shot. Wheel bearing, possibly, but you'd notice that beyond just under braking.

Well did the rotor swap and the rattling is still there. I took the whole front driver side wheel suspension apart and back together to see if anything was shot or loose and no luck. Would a broken or worn out rollstop (engine mount) cause this kind of problem?

It's not the wheel bearing, no noise coming from the bearing at all, no play in the wheel in any direction, and no vibrations when the car is moving...it's only when I'm coming to a stop
