Ok so i was going to replace my drivers side axle, but i decided not to because the outer end of the axle was frozen to the hub...

I took off and re torqued everything that is in this faq http://www.vfaq.com/mods/CVboots.html (i stopped before i could take out axle from hub).

So take it for a spin around the block and try braking hard and turning hard to make sure nothing is acting funny. I walk outa my car and i see FAINT smoke coming from in between my spokes of rims.. I was thinking hmm thats funny i was braking so hard that they started to smoke? I go the opposite side and notice they arent smoking!

Any ideas why this is happening?
Possible for wheel bearings to be smoking?//!?!

I ended up replacing the boot with a quick split universal type boot and i made a mess with grease all ofer the effin place so im hopin it is the grease that is causing the smoke..

You probably got grease on the rotor and therefore pads. Replace the pads (they don't work well with lubricant on them) and clean the rotor with some solvent.

yah that is most likely it, happened to my borher, just clean the rotor and get new pads. should be good to go.
